Who Is It For?
The Whisper Hearing System is described as a “hearing aid that gets better over time”. It is specifically designed for adults with mild to severe hearing loss. It’s not intended for profound, unilateral, or mixed hearing loss. It’s also not for single-sided deafness or for children. This device is fit by a local hearing healthcare professional.
Core Components
The Whisper Hearing System has third core components: the Whisper Brain, the “earpieces” which look like receiver in canal hearing aids, and the Whisper app for regular software updates. The Whisper Brain uses the artificial intelligence AI-based Sound Separation Engine to improve hearing in background noise. You’ll have to carry the Whisper Brain around with you to get this full functionality. However, now that the fourth major update is available you’ll now have improved noise reduction when using the earpieces alone. The earpieces will work like traditional hearing aids if you don’t have the Whisper Brain with you.
This hearing aid technology uses a software based learning system or artificial intelligence that allows the hearing aid to offer new features over time. It receives software upgrades every few months. You can also make your own custom sound adjustments on the Whisper Brain hardware or within the Whisper app.
Wireless Connectivity
Bluetooth connectivity with smartphones is an important feature offered by Whisper hearing aids. You also now get support for Android phones like the Samsung Galaxy S9, S10, Note 10, and Google Pixel 3 & 4. iPhone compatibility is already offered for iPhone 7 and newer.
Inside the box you get the Whisper Brain and two “earpieces”, a charger and USB cable, an earpiece carrying case, cleaning tool, wax guards, and owners manual. Each earpiece uses a 675 battery, and the Whisper Brain is rechargeable.

A unique feature of the Whisper hearing system is that it is available as a 36 month term leasing plan, and you can upgrade your hardware at the end of the term. Included is a trial period, care from a local provider, software upgrades, and a 3 year warranty with loss and damage coverage.
