Phonak Audéo Life – Unique Features
Today, I’m talking about the newly released Phonak Audéo Life hearing aid. So, what new features make this new Phonak hearing aid unique?
Waterproofing
Phonak reports that it’s “the world’s first rechargeable hearing aid that is waterproof*, showerproof and sweatproof”. This new hearing is designed to be waterproof for a water depth of up to 50 cm or about 19 and a half inches. It adds a protective coating to seal the case to keep out moisture.
Rechargeable
In addition to waterproofing, they’re also rechargeable. They can be recharged using the new Phonak Charger Case Go induction charger. This new case uses magnets to hold the hearing aids into place.

The new Phonak Audéo Life hearing aid is built upon the Paradise platform, so you’ll have access to all the following features:
1. Automatic Sound Processing with AutoSense OS 4
This feature listens to your environment and adjusts the hearing aid settings to provide the best sound quality and speech intelligibility.
2. Smartphone Remote Control Access with the myPhonak App
Discretely adjust your hearing aid settings with your iPhone or Android smartphone.
3. Universal Bluetooth Connectivity for Apple and Android
Stream your favorite music and media directly to your hearing aids.
4. Tap Control for Bluetooth Streaming
This allows you to control your music and media by tapping your ear.
5. Tinnitus Balance Noise Generator for Tinnitus Relief
Your audiologist can enable this feature to help you manage tinnitus.
6. Motion Sensor Hearing
This provides better speech understanding while you’re walking and talking with someone.
